Downloading content

Some stories are free to download and others require purchase. Note that many bundles are quite large, so be prepared for the download time as necessary. Once you’ve downloaded your story, it’s simple to import:
  • Run Worldviewer, launch the ESC menu and select Import Package.
  • Look for the *.WVBundle file (likely in your Downloads folder) and select it.
  • When importing is complete, select Load Composition and select the new composition file.

Uploading your content

First, make sure that all your content is free of third-party licensing requirements. By uploading the story, you are confirming that you, not The Elumenati, will be responsible for any disputes of licensing or intellectual property.

Bundle your content in WorldComposer. Hit Tab to open WorldComposer, then select Metadata. You’ll need the following to fill in your metadata in the File menu – image below:
  • Title (36 characters max)
  • Author (36 characters max)
  • Genre – one or more of the following: Air, Arts, Land, Life, Other, Space, Water and Weather
  • Description (350 characters max) – a quick summary of the story, the media it’s composed of, and he user interface if any. Please include a rough estimate of file size.
  • Surface (globe or dome)
  • Price ($0 if it’s free)

Before exporting a bundle, it is a good idea to create an image representative of your story to be included in the bundle. It should be 16:9, ideally 1280×720 resolution. If you don’t have an image, the default is an Elumenati logo.

With Metadata saved and an image created, hit ESC and select Export Package.  You will be asked to select your image (or chose no image).

Next, post your bundle anywhere online. You can use your own site, Dropbox, or any other hosting service.
Submit Your Story on our site using the button at the bottom of any stories page. After login, the upload window will ask you for:
  • Email address – if you are charging for content (see below), this must be the email address for your Paypal account.
  • Link to bundle
    • If you’re using an encrypted link (Google Drive, etc) you will need to type in the filename of your bundle, ending with .WV2Bundle. Please double check for spelling and typos.
    • Dropbox and MediaFire will not require this additional step.
When your story has been submitted, you’ll receive a notification by email at the address associated with your account. We will download and vet it, and when we post it to the site, you’ll receive another notification.

If you charge for your content, The Elumenati will take a 20% fee, which covers transaction fees incurred during the sale. We will make quarterly payments to the Paypal account associated with your story. So that other WorldViewer users who are considering purchasing your composition may contact you directly with any questions, your story’s listing will include a link to contact you via email. By uploading your story with an associated price, you are consenting to be contacted by other WorldViewer users for this purpose.
