Cave Art Interactive Installation Wins Silver MUSE Award

The Field Museum’s Cave Art Interactive installation won the 2011 Silver MUSE Award, an honor from the Media and Technology arm of the American Association of Museums (AAM). The Elumenati produced Cave Art in collaboration with the team at the Field and animator Pat Bradley, as part of the Mammoths and Mastodons exhibit currently touring museums around the country. Inside a Portal with an OmniFocus projection system, visitors use Wii controllers to explore historians’ theories on Cave Art – experience it in the Field Museum’s video. It’s one of the first installations to incorporate our Omnity software package for Unity3D, seamlessly integrating linear animations with multiuser 3D interactivity. Congratulations and thanks to the Field Museum team!
