GeoDome at Astronomy Days at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences

We’ll be exploring the Universe with Uniview in the NCMNS GeoDome Theater as part of two days of free, interactive exhibits, Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22. We’ll also be working with colleagues visiting from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to present Eyes on the Earth, which we’ve helped enable for display in multiple formats like the interactive sphere at JPL in Pasadena and, of course, the GeoDome.

All four floors of the museum will transform into a world of “planetary exploration,” which is the theme of this year’s event, hosted by NASA Langley Research Center, the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, and the Raleigh Astronomy Club. Other highlights include a replica of the  Mars Rover (also visiting from JPL) and a talk from former astronaut Jose Hernandez, whose parents were migrant workers.  More information about Astronomy Days is here.
