We’re headed down to the SouthEastern Planetarium Association conference. We’re partnering with Digital Projection to showcase the OmniFocus 30700, our new projection system based on their 4K INSIGHT Laser. With 12,000 lumens, the 30700 fills domes up to 15m with stunning detail and color. The laser light engine delivers 20,000 hours with no lamp changes, saving both cost and resources. The 30700 promises to help realize a wide range of our clients’ projects with 4K projection, and we can’t wait to see it in the SEPA dome, showing content built in WorldViewer as well as NASA JPL’s Eyes on the Earth, Solar System. and Exoplanets.
In our booth, we’ll set up a 2’ Elumenati digital video globe, with new content that shows how well interactive spherical displays complement traditional planetarium installations. Come see us at the expo in the Clarion Hotel Ballrooom. SEPA 2015 takes place June 23-27 at the Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, GA. The 30700 will be shown in the planetarium dome on Tuesday night and Friday evening after the banquet.
