We are now supporting multi-projector solutions for spherical display of Unity game content, through a new collaboration with Vioso. The multi-projector premium feature activation in our Omnity plugin supports Vioso’s Anyblend, which offers embedded warping and blending for performance-driven interactive solutions. Vioso provides automated camera-based calibration as well as color matching between disparate projectors in many different configurations. It’s a direct integration into Unity – we use Vioso for calibration, which allows us to create the correct camera view in-game natively in Unity3d and output directly to the displays with blending and calibration. This allows use of Nvidia Pascal series Geforce cards for the blending during normal operation of the Unity application, as Omnity does all the work natively within Unity.
As part of the collaboration, Vioso will also be offering Omnity to their clients.
