The Whidbey GeoDome Project

The Whidbey GeoDome Project is a creation of New Stories, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit located on Whidbey Island, Washington. The Whidbey GeoDome  Project works with schools, corporations, and communities to provide immersive dome experiences coupled with a transformative educational curriculum for individual, organizational, and community change. They utilize the power of visual storytelling to engage students at all levels, as well as organizational and community leaders, and create an inquisitive space for people to examine their perspectives about what it means to be a human on the planet today.

In 2011 and 2012, thousands of people experienced the Whidbey GeoDome at its inaugural event at the Next Fifty, a six-month celebration of the anniversary of the World’s Fair in Seattle.
