3D PacMan at the PULSE Festival

3D PacMan chomps pellets and chases ghosts across the walls, floor, and ceiling of the Telfair Museum in Savannah during the PULSE Art and Technology Festival, Jan 30-Feb 3. An OmniFocus projection system creates a playable, room-size version of the original game, mapped by Elumenati lead programmer Clement Shimizu. The immersive experience was conceptualized by Keita Takahashi, who’ll speak at the festival along with Dr Shimizu and other innovators in the use of videogames as social spaces. 3D PacMan was created for the 2012 Babycastles Summit at the Museum of Art and Design in New York (Kotaku’s video is here). Come out and play!
