The Whidbey GeoDome Project has launched in a big way – as a featured exhibit at the Next Fifty, the 50th anniversary celebration of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. Thousands of visitors will experience the GeoDome where it will run at the Seattle Center during the six-month celebration. Says Rick Ingrasci, MD, Project Director: “The Earth Portal experience inside the GeoDome Theater will be coupled with interactive exhibits and educational materials that demonstrate ways in which whole systems thinking, design science, and collaborative processes can be used to address many of the complex challenges facing humanity. By engaging audiences of all ages through the power of visual storytelling, we are looking forward to seeing what kind of resilient future our community will imagine for the 21st century.”
