Lehigh University’s outreach program uses a GeoDome Portal with Uniview. Their audience is mostly K-12 students throughout the local area school districts, or students and parents who visit the DaVinci Discovery Center of Science & Technology during special summer programs.
Lehigh’s goal is to enhance existing science curricula and motivate students to want to study science further. Presentations focus on physics and the NASA space program, and often share a materials science viewpoint in discussing new materials being developed at Lehigh for space travel.
In the summer of 2009 Lehigh’s GeoDome was a major hit at a camp for students with autism and other disabilities.
