A GeoDome Panorama lets Pfluger Architects present their architectural designs in a social, collaborative way. Pfluger uses WorldViewer to showcase 360° panoramas and videos produced in Enscape, Twinmotion, and Lumion. For live walkthroughs, they’re using Unreal Engine, which Spouts into WorldViewer using the OffWorld Live plugin. The Pfluger team brings the GeoDome to conferences and client facilities. Its capabilities for design review also make the GeoDome part of Pfluger’s production pipeline, as they can preview the ways spaces will feel and materials will look.

The immersive nature of the GeoDome allows clients to fully understand spaces and designs in a way that flat renderings cannot convey. Compared to other immersive technologies like VR headsets, the GeoDome offers a group experience that is more accessible and less likely to cause vertigo, making it a preferred choice among Pfluger’s clients.

The GeoDome created a shared experience that not only increases collaboration but also enriches discussions about the spatial experience and design needs. This collaborative environment fosters a deeper connection between the architects and their clients, leading to a more profound appreciation of the architectural vision and a stronger alignment on project objectives.

Plueger chose our 4.5m-diameter Panorama, with an overhead visor to minimize the effects of ambient light. An OmniFocus 30370 projection system with 4K projection at 10,000 lumens is housed in a kiosk that integrates our image generating computer, audio and a touchscreen user interface. This newly redesigned kiosk drives all our portable systems, greatly simplifying setup – once the screen is up, Pfluger simply places the kiosk in front and they’re ready to engage with their clients.
