The team at HIES explains how their GeoDome Panorama creates an immersive learning lab with an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning.  They’re using WorldViewer as a media mashup tool to build immersive lessons on cultural studies, history and literature, as well as exploring Earth and space science with data from NASA and NOAA. Students and teachers are creating GroupVR lessons for students from preK though grade 12. 360° content includes video they shoot as well as video sourced from YouTube360 and other content creators. They can plug in an external computer for picture-in-picture content – from PowerPoint to videogames. The Panorama is a canvas for immersive and interactive art created in their “Coding for Art” class.
