The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale, FL delivers space education programs to students of all ages across Broward County with its new portable GeoDome Theater. Delivered to low-income schools, community centers and libraries via the “MODS STEMobile – Museum on Wheels”, MODS inspires the next generation of astronomers and scientists through immersive space programs that instill a lifelong love for the stars.

MODS is using the redesigned GeoDome Theater solution we released in 2024. It’s 6m in diameter, and 3.65m tall – a bit shorter than previous designs, so it fits lower ceiling heights. An OmniFocus 30300  projection system fills the dome with 6,000 lumens at  3840×2160 resolution. It’s housed in a compact road case with audio and a high performance Elumenati IG. Our OpenPlayground for Astronomy supports their programming with Stellarium and OpenSpace.
