This week marks our inaugural GeoDome Network conference and workshop! We’re hosting this gathering of a core group of GeoDome clients for a deep dive into WorldViewer and its many possibilities. Sessions will include:
- An immersive learning lab session, led by Daniel Forrester of the PEAK Institute with contributions from the American Museum of Natural History
- A showcase of WorldViewer projects created by our clients, and a session on sharing content with WorldViewer Stories
- Exploration of our OpenPlayground for Astronomy, with technical presentations from the OpenSpace team in the planetarium at Minnesota State University Moorhead
- Interactives from our content partners, including Deep Time Maps, Virtual Stonehenge, and other Earth science resources from NOAA and NASA
- A new set of multi-player dome games from Kinetarium
It’s our goal to inform and inspire the collective of WorldViewer users. We’re also recording all the sessions to expand our WorldViewer resources and share with all our GeoDome clients. We’re thrilled to see the network grow, and we’re here to support it.
