Our collaboration with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences continued in 2021 as we upgraded the SECU Daily Planet, a three-story theater with a 42-foot-tall screen. A blended projection system is driven by a customized image generator and WorldViewer’s Open Playground extension.

Our need to create a large immersive screening space in just a few hours with a couple of technicians, whilst also presenting a striking looking installation could only have been delivered via the GeoDome. The GeoDome Panorama allows the Bell Museum staff to incorporate new media to keep content in the exhibit current, such as displaying video of the launch of Parker Solar Probe, exploring a Mars dust storm, and celebrating NASA’s 60th anniversary. We also use the daily updated NASA Eyes software.

OmniFocus projection powers a 6′ globe display in the California Science Center Ecosytems gallery. We’ve worked with the science center since 2013, keeping both the globe and content fresh with new exhibits built in WorldViewer.
In Exploring the Planets at the National Air and Space Museum, a globe and a panorama bring to life to the wonder of exploring our solar system and beyond, with datasets from NASA’s JPL.
On the 4′ globe in the ESC, Eyes on the Earth is enabled for spherical display through Omnity and our dev collaboration with JPL. WorldViewer drives multiple displays through a single interface.
